A logo-only gobo projects the chosen artwork without a surrounding white background circle. This factory test shows a green circular text design using a GoboUltra 60W indoor logo projector. The projector and artwork used for this order
The order was for the rotating version of our 60W indoor logo projector. The custom artwork uses green lettering arranged in a circle, with the words "OREGON SYMPHONY" and "LIVE MUSIC IS COOL". In the photograph, the letters are illuminated while the spaces between them remain part of the room's existing surface.

Why the Logo Only background choice matters
There are two common artwork layouts to consider. With a Logo Only design, the dark areas of the gobo block light and the intended artwork is projected. A design with a transmitting white background produces a white illuminated field around the logo. That field may be circular when it follows the gobo's image area.
Here, the letters follow a circular arrangement, but there is no filled white disc behind them. This distinction is useful when approving a digital proof: a circular logo layout and a white background circle are different choices. Tell us which effect you want before production.
What the factory photograph shows
The photograph shows the green text on a ceiling with room lighting switched on. Ceiling panels and linear light fixtures remain visible in the scene. We have kept the original photograph rather than replacing it with a simulated projection.
A factory test can help you review the artwork's appearance. Your installed result will also depend on the lens-to-surface distance, requested image size, ambient light, surface color and texture, and projection angle. Camera exposure can affect how bright or saturated a projected color appears in a photograph.
What to send us for your own projection
Send your logo file together with the following details so we can review a suitable projector and artwork layout:
- Indoor or outdoor use, plus a photo of the intended location.
- Distance from the projector lens to the receiving surface.
- Desired logo width and height.
- Mounting position and the surface where the logo should appear.
- Typical room lighting or outdoor lighting conditions.
- Your preferred color and whether you want Logo Only or a white background.
If you are projecting from the side or at an angle, include the mounting and target positions. We can review the geometry before discussing artwork correction; this test photograph alone does not establish a correction angle for another installation.
Common questions
Does Logo Only project a black circle?
No. The black masking areas block light; they do not project black light. The surrounding surface remains visible under the room's existing lighting.
Will my green logo look exactly like this photograph?
The photograph is a reference for this factory setup. Surface color, ambient light, image size, projection distance and camera settings can change the appearance. Confirm your artwork and installation details before ordering.
Is this a customer venue installation?
No. This is a factory test recorded before shipping, not a photograph of the customer's venue.
